In Hong Kong

Hey y'all! This is our official blogsite for our trip. I would like to put more stuff on right now, but I'm paying for internet at the moment, and am just trying to figure everything out for the first time. We did a bunch of stuff and saw a lot of Hong Kong (by walking) and took a lot of pics. I forgot to bring Amanda's journal to explain in a little more detail, so it'll just have to wait. Here are some pics from the trip so far..

This was the width of our first room, and not much longer either. Cozy, to say the least.

They have an ice rink inside a mall... sweet.

Here we are at the bird sanctuary...still walking. I would just like to take a moment and let everyone know, that we did choose to walk everywhere, and I have done more walking in the last 5 days than I have in the last 5 years, but I'm OK with that. (kind of).

This is a pic from the goldfish street or district or whatever. A lot of cool thing to see, but it smelled like someone ate some bad cat food mixed with pumpkin and threw up in an indian restaurant bathroom. That isn't exactly accurate, but please appreciate the effort in trying to capture my feelings for the scent.

Here is a quick pic of Hong Kong night life. Every street looks something like this, except that there is normally 2 7/11's per block. I am not exaggerating. Slurpee's just aren't the same...

Took in the science museum, or Hong Kong science world if you prefer. Good times.

This is the night of the ridiculous rain storm. It eased up just enough so we could get this pic, then we took refuge in Starbucks...
This was our third and final room... cheaper, bigger, and with a flat screen TV with one to two english channels at any given time. It also had a mini fridge for my beer. Life is good.

We took a tram to Victoria Peak, the highest spot overlooking the mainland from Hong Kong Island.

I was trying to post a video of the sympony of lights, but it was taking waaay to long. I've also just realized, I think I've been posting my pics from top to bottom, when it would have been a lot easier to post bottom to top, but im ok with posting my flaws along with my pics. Well thats it for now folks, im gonna try to put these and all the rest on facebook if I can. More to come!!!!.....
